Based on my experience this is the best setup for a bath tube . You can have everything you need: bath filler, shower over the head and hand held shower. Without any pipes concealed in the wall you are risk free from any hidden leaks. All setup is modular and very easy to replace any part of the system. Thermostatic bath mixer is very easy to change , just two nuts, after you stop the water obviously. All thermostatic showers, due to limescale, make problems after 3-5 years and that's why I consider is the best to have something easy to change to a reasonable price!
